Tourism Village Deogarh

Deogarh is nestled in Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh, and mainly comprises the Gond tribe. The village, part of the Mahakaushal cultural zone, offers an authentic rural experience amidst lush forests and hills. Notably, the Deogarh Fort, a 16th-century Gond tribal creation, lies just 46 km away, drawing tourists with its archaeological significance and rain-harvesting step-wells.

The village provides a stay in traditional architecture surrounded by farmland and teak forests.

The culinary delights of Makke ki Roti, Jowar Roti, Kutki ka Bhat, Kaddu ki Kheer, Aam ki Chutney, and Moongfali ki Chutney showcase the vibrant local cuisine. The village pulsates with folk dance (Shaila Nritya) and music (Gondi Geet), celebrated during festivals like Chaitra Purnima Fair and Durga Pooja.
