Tourism Village Dhusawani

Dhusawani, a tribal village situated in Chhindwara, is perched on a plateau in the Satpura Mountain Range, offering visitors a distinct cultural experience. This year-round tourist destination welcomes guests at all times of the year, with even the summer months providing a refreshing breeze. The village thrives on its rich cultural heritage, with elders passing down traditional stories and folklore through Kissagoi (storytelling), while the younger generation actively participates in cultural activities.

These include dairy farming, blacksmithing, cycling, boating, Bhajan Mandli (devotional singing), hiking, bullock cart rides, folk dances, and storytelling sessions. Visitors can also explore local fairs, witness the display of forest produce, and observe the use of traditional tools like the Kuneti (quern stone for grinding Kodo-Kutki).
