The Lokrang Festival, a major cultural event in Madhya Pradesh, is commencing on Republic Day, January 26, 2025, and will continue until January 30 at Ravindra Bhavan Complex, Bhopal. The chief guest on this occasion will be the Honourable Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel ji.
This five-day festival celebrates India's tribal and folk traditions with cultural performances, tribal dances, and art exhibitions, attracting music lovers, artists, and tourists.
It will begin with a dance-drama tribute to Queen Durgavati, featuring local tribal and international dance performance from Paris, Lebanon, and Germany. Attendees can enjoy the showcase of traditional music, art and literature, and the taste of local cuisine in the 'Deshaj Vyanjan' showcase. The festival will conclude on January 30, with a performance 'Peer Paraai Jaane Re' by the Madhavas Rock Band, presenting devotional music inspired by Vrindavan.
