Fondly called the 'City of Lakes', Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh and considered the heartland of India. Located amidst exquisite lakes, the city is a beautiful combination of regal heritage and breath-taking natural landscapes.

The residents of Bhopal, love every form of art-dance, music and painting. Kathak is one of the major categories of dance practiced by people. Furthermore, Dhrupad Sansthan is a renowned music academy where one can learn Indian classical music. Food in the city is unique and quite influenced by the Islamic culture. Non-vegetarian delicacies like Bhopali Murgh Razala or Bhopali Gosht Korma, Murgh Nizami and Seek Kebab are some of the exclusive preparations. Vegetarian dishes like Paneer Rezala or Paneer Butter Masala are equally loved and cherished by the locals as well as tourists.
