Atulya Kanchi Farms is a premier, family-run eco-luxury wildlife camp positioned directly on the edge of Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India.  The Legend of "Kanchi"

Our name is a soulful tribute to our beloved elephant, Kanchi, and a legendary 1,000-kilometre expedition across South India. Coordinated and led by our founder, Neeraj Pathania, for a National Geographic film project, this monumental cross-country journey was undertaken alongside the late iconic British conservationist and travel writer, Mark Shand.

• The Inspiration: Navigating India's raw landscapes and historic temple terrains, the spiritual rhythm and the profound connection forged between human and elephant left an indelible mark on Neeraj.
• The Bond: This historic journey forged a lifelong brotherhood between Neeraj and Mark Shand, who went on to feature Neeraj prominently in his acclaimed travel books, including River Dog: A Journey Down the Brahmaputra.

When Neeraj and Arti established this farm and camp, they chose the name Atulya Kanchi to build a living bridge that celebrates intense exploration, wildlife conservation, and the enduring memory of our elephant Kanchi.

An extraordinary wilderness odyssey deserves extraordinary hosts. Atulya Kanchi Farms is brought to life by the vision and passion of Neeraj and Arti Pathania:

• Neeraj Pathania (The Explorer): A seasoned mountaineer and elite wildlife expedition leader, Neeraj has coordinated landmark projects for National Geographic and the BBC Natural History Unit. At the camp, he is celebrated as a master storyteller by the fireside, utilizing his deep tracking knowledge to expertly curate safaris and maximize rare tiger sightings.
• Arti Pathania (The Creative Soul): The architect of the Atulya Kanchi experience, Arti meticulously designed the resort’s stunning structural layout, local art-infused interiors, and flourishing organic gardens. She drives "Kanchi’s Kitchen"—a culinary haven serving rich heritage meals harvested directly from the farm—and curates our boutique to champion local tribal craftsmanship.
