The verdant jewel of Madhya Pradesh, Pachmarhi, is back with its thrilling and power-packed activity - The Parchmarhi Monsoon Marathon. This magnificence of nature attracts many tourists from across the globe for its beauty, vantage viewpoints, spectacular falls, and Indo-European architecture.
To engage more tourists during the monsoon season, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and Nagpur-based company "KA Connect" have organised, the 'Pachmarhi Monsoon Marathon' on 7th August 2022 (Sunday).
This year, MPTB is also organising a "42 Km full Marathon" which will start from Matkuli and runners will run up to " Pachmarhi Air Strip", then take a 'U-turn from there and finish the race at Hotel High Land.
5 Km Run Route
Hotel Highland (Start Point) - Rock Garden - Pachmarhi Police Station - Devedaru Bungalow - Pachmarhi Club Golf Ground and return on the same route.
10 Km Run Route
Hotel Highland (Start Point) - Rock Garden - Pachmarhi Police Station - Devedaru Bungalow - Pachmarhi Club Golf Ground - Raj Bhawan - Air Strip and return on the same route.
21 Km Run Route
Hotel Highland (Start Point) - Rock Garden - Pachmarhi Police Station - Devedaru Bungalow - Pachmarhi Club Golf Ground - Raj Bhawan - Air Strip - Bee Fall - Reechgarh - Dhoopgarh square - Rajendra Giri - Bharat scouts & Guide centre and return on the same route.

Bus services to Pachmarhi are available from Bhopal, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Pipariya and other places. There are 7 buses daily to Bhopal which take just 6-7 hours. Buses are operated by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation as well as other private companies.
The nearest rail station is Pipariya (50 kms). It is on the Mumbai-Howrah line and is well connected to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Bangalore.
