India lost and found, a creative platform that attempts to rebrand India's lesser-known historic sites is initiating an inter-college research paper competition titled #IndiaFound: Bhopal through a site lens in February as an annual event. It aims to create more engagement of the youth of Bhopal with the built heritage of the city.
The event would be conducted on Feb 29th at State Museum, Bhopal. The registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis and entries will be accepted till Jan 27th. Participants in this competition will be required to research their allocated site extensively and to bring out the lives of the people and dynasties of that era in question.
The objective of the participants will be to recreate and redefine the site in a cultural context going beyond its architecture and factual information and focus more on broadening horizons by interpreting the era in terms of society, culture, architecture, art and crafts, cuisine, fashion, oral traditions, and the likes.
Maximum number of teams per college is 3 and a team of 3-5 participants is allowed for the event. Hurry up to register now. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSflta5InQwVugdN62OMpjC-5VUzcmxztv934dcDKPq9VGjxjQ/viewform
