World Tourism Day is an annual celebration to raise awareness among people about tourism. The theme for this year’s World Tourism Day is “Tourism and the Digital Transformation” set up by United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to show the digital advances and transforming the tourism industry through Digital platforms.
World Tourism day is a unique opportunity to raise awareness on the potential contribution of digital technologies and innovative ideas towards digitalization and making the world very compact with sustainability. Also, with respect to the occasion, every year National Tourism Awards are being organized by Ministry of Tourism in various segments of travel, tourism and hospitality industry.
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has always been working in the direction of coming up with something creative for its tourists. Over the past decades, it has come up with interesting TVCs which have received immense love from the viewers. To name a few of them which were out of the box in terms of the creativity and went on to become immensely popular were 'Til Dekho.. Taad Dekho' or the ones that followed including 'Hindustan Ka Dil Dekho', 'MP.. Ajab Hai', 'Sau Tarah Ke Rang He' and not to forget 'MP Me Dil Hua Bacche Sa'.
These creative videos have definitely changed the outlook with which one identifies the state. While for this year Madhya Pradesh Tourism (MPT) has launched a new TVC named "Destination TVC"; that strikes the right chords and encourages tourists to plan a trip to the heartland of India.
