The Directorate of culture, Government of Madhya Pradesh brings to you yet another edition of the exceptionally popular ‘Tansen Samaroh 2018’ in Gwalior. The festival honours the accomplishments of fabled singer ‘Tansen’ and other composers across the nation. On this occasion, the music-driven platform is used by the musicians and instrumentalists from all over the world to showcase their talent and perform in front of a live audience.
The prestigious musical event will go on from 25th – 29th December 2018 and will be graced by many prominent artists. In addition, the performances will be held at ‘The Memorial of Tansen’ and some in the Behat village, with the closing ceremony at the Gujari Mahal on 29thDecember.
The Tansen Samaroh is celebrated each year in the memory of one of the most eminent singers of Indian history, ‘Tansen’!
