Khajuraho Dance Festival

Feb to Mar 2017

The Khajuraho Dance Festival began in 1975 and since then has been one of the most popular cultural events in India, attended by local, national and international audiences. Held in the spectacular vicinity of the evocative Khajuraho Temples, the artists offer tributes to gods and leave the audience enthralled. The setting sun, soft lights, sounds of anklets and musical instruments create an enchanting spell. Indian classical dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Kathakali, Odissi, Manipuri, Kathak and Mohiniyattam are showcased at the festival.
